Ingredients:
- ½ cup wheat gluten
- 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast flakes
- ½ cup vegetable broth
- 5 drop of liquid smoke
- Celery, chopped into 4 inch pieces
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon BBQ spice
- 1 bottle of your favorite brand of BBQ sauce
Directions:
- Add the wheat gluten to a bowl
- Add the nutritional yeast flakes, garlic powder, BBQ spice, and garlic powder
- Mix well
- Add the vegetable broth and liquid smoke
- Mix well until you get a soft dough
- Tear off pieces of the dough and wrap around each celery stick
- The celery stick acts like the “bones” of the BBQ
- Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes
- Take the BBQ out and brush on some BBQ sauce
- Bake for another 5-10 minutes
- Serve hot with even more BBQ sauce
