Ingredients:
- 1 cup frozen berries
- 1/2 cup soy milk
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- Agave
Special equipment:
- Magic Bullet (or equivalent blending device)
Directions:
- Blend berries and soy milk for several seconds until you get a rough mixture
- Put a pon on the stove over medium heat
- Add mixture
- Spread mixture around evenly and lower heat to a simmer
- Simmer for 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally
- Add some agave to sweeten the jam, if desired
- Add chia seeds and mix well
- Remove jam from heat
- Allow jam to cool for at least 10 minutes
- Refrigerate jam for several hours before serving
- Serve as a spread over bread or pastry
